NetSecL boot freezes at wireless pci

I have been using Slackware for years and just found a variation of Slack that has a lot of included networking programs that Slack doesn't. I just put it next to Slackware 11 on my mp3 server....it's now a dual boot box. The installer is the Slack installer...so that was nice. I'm having trouble on the boot up, though. I have an ethernet card and a wireless pci card installed. Currently I'm only using the ethernet card. When it boots I see from the text that goes by that it finds my ethernet card ok and then finds my wireless pci card and then it freezes. The card was not detected before by Slack.

The file structure is the same as Slackware. I imagine all the startup scripts are in /etc/rc.d since that directory exists. Which file might this wireless hardware configuration script be and can I move it safely to another directory where it won't execute?

got it-I just added my Belkin Wireless F5D7001 module (bcm43xx) to my /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist file:

blacklist bcm43xx
