Fairly new to slackware...tons of questions.

Bear with me on this post, I have quite a few questions.

I want to use Blackbox, but I want quite a few of the tools that are available in other desktop environments. If possible, could you tell me what the program is called and/or what directory they reside in, so I can create the menu in Blackbox? I just grabbed this from the K menu, so if you know of anything better than what I have listed, or any other essential tools, please feel free to list them.

Javascript console (kjscmd)

Image viewer
Picture viewer

FTP Client
Gaim
Internet Dial-up tool
Port Scanner (Nmap)
cd player
Some program to get images from my camera

System monitor
Information center
Programs to perform general maintenance (such as control panel in windows)
Some user manager
X load
X kill

Would like to have paths to games available in K

--------------------------------------------------------------

I've searched for this, but can't seem to get any methods I've seen to work. How do I setup my machine so my touchpad is enabled when my usb mouse isn't plugged in?

A program to add HP printers would be nice as well.

Thanks in advance.

Image viewer -> gqview
FTP Client -> gftp
System monitor -> gkrellm, torsmo, one gdekslets called psi-????
(note: gdesklets take some time to setup)
Programs to perform general maintenance (such as control panel in windows), Some user manager, X load, X kill -> use comand line is probably better

Also, if there's some sort of battery monitor. I'm on a laptop.

What's the location of those files, or how do I find them myself?

GKrellM provides a battery monitor as well. From cli issue "gkrellm"
and that rascal will 'pop up.' Then issue "man gkrellm" to learn about
the monitor. And, they're got a website - Google will get 'em.
