Booting

I installed the Slackware distro of linux this morning but declined the installation on lilo because i already have Bootit NG as my boot/partition manager. When I tried to add it to my boot options, i got confused and couldn't figure it out. I tried using the linux boot disk made during the slackware installation but I couldn't make that work either. Anyone know how i can fix my problem?

Try putting your cd 1 and boot into it. There's a line that goes.

boot bare.i root=/dev/hda? noinitrd ro

Where ? is your root partition. That's assuming you used the default (bare.i) kernel.

Once your logged in as root run "liloconfig" (No quotes)

And don't double post.

Hope Allen614's suggestion works for you.
