Problems with installing RPM's on Redhat 9.0 (i686).

Anything i try to install brings up the RPM software installation thing, automaticly says its updating then the box dissapears, yet i see no application installed according to what i have selected in the KDE task bar.
Xine, i tryed installing the i386 then the i686 and nothing happend, just the software box then it looks as if it installed and i never seen xine in the media-sounds thread or the task-bar.
And frozen buble i also tryed to install with the same problem.
Whats going on?.

Yeah, happens to me too. I can install by using a terminal and typing: rpm -i package-to-install.rpm

You should be able to find the dependencies where you found xine. If not, try freshrpms.net Just make sure to install the dependencies first and then xine.

I would use apt just because it takes care of all the dependencies for you.
