is there a boot splach screen for 2.6.6


i have never used bootsplach screen before
but i went to patch my 2.6.6 source and i got errors like when i followed the guide

I would restore your original source and use the one from:
http://dediziert.org/~tyrant/linux/b...1.4-2.6.6.diff

I googled about for a 2.6.5 patch to save me making one up and found that site. I bookmarked it and it looks like the guy is making patches for all new kernels.

My thanks to tyrant for his/her hard work

I've got it going on my slack system too so if you've still got a problem just let me know.
