Best CentOS repositories.

I'm having difficulties trying to install applications with yum. I have RPM Fusion.

What are the best repositories for CentOS?:hattip:
Thanks in advance!

how did you install fusion ?
-- from the instructions on the wiki --
http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories

also fusion has no cent6 " el6" and almost no cent 5 - el5

rpmforge is the main
BUT rpmforge-extras IS INCOMPATIBLE with RHN and cent and SL base install

-- fallow ALL warnings about the NEED for "yum-Priorities" and possibly " yum-ProtectBase"
"yum-Priorities" IS needed and you NEED to configure it

Thanks for the Reply!

These are the notes I saved for this install. I can't remember from memory because I have been doing a lot to get set up.

You should look at the EPEL repos if not already setup.
Quote:

What is EPEL?

EPEL (Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux) is a volunteer-based community effort from the Fedora project to create a repository of high-quality add-on packages that complement the Fedora-based Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and its compatible spinoffs, such as CentOS and Scientific Linux.

As part of the Fedora packaging community, EPEL packages are 100% free/libre open source software (FLOSS).

The best repository is the one that has the application you need in it. What application(s) do you need?
