Forget Lilo and Grub
Change your BIOS to boot from CD/DVD and then HD
- it probably already has this sequence
Now if Puppy is in the CD/DVD - Puppy runs
If not the hard drive runs
Puppy saves its settings in one file on the Hard disk
and boots faster from CD than other distros or Windows do from Hard drive
It then runs faster - all the programs are in Ram
When a new Puppy comes out - at least 6-8 a year
you burn a CD (you can do that from Puppy with a simple
program especially written for it) and have a new operating system
Your settings are already on the hard disk
This is Linux the way it should be.
