What is Dead Mouse and how to use it?

At Quick setup, lower left corner, there is Dead Mouse? TAB key to select this button then press Enter key. What is this Dead Mouse and how to use it, please?
Thank you.

What the heck is that dead mouse? Would be nice to give us more details about what are you trying to do.
What did you install at all, what did you try to achieve, and probably would be nice to post a picture too.

Thank you.
Have tried to upload a picture as above. Don't know whether it will show up.

I think that it is telling you, if your mouse does not work, then tab to the dead mouse button.

Thank you.
Very informative. It seems very rare for the mouse to be dead. It is a good measure though.
Appreciate.
