I've installed a used PCI Adapter, D-Link DWL-520E1 which I'm trying to connect to a at&t/yahoo 2wire router.
802.11b Wireless, on my 10 year old Presario 5050 Desktop computer. I get this - Puppy has I.D. the following, network interface on your computterm but still needs to be configured: To test or configure click on this button. Interface WlANO Type Ethernet Model prism2_pci Bus pci Description X -------------------------------------------- Desktop Presario OS WIN98, running live/cd Puppy 4.0 I've clicked on ndiswrapper: Select the driver information file (.INF) Folders ./ ../ archive/ bin/ dev/ etc/ initrd/ lib/ mnt/ opt/ proc/ root/ sbin/ sys/ tmp/ usr/ var/ I have the Apapters Cd that came with the D-Link DWL-520E1 (V.E1) PC1. Report on Test of wlan0 - 'Unable to connect to the network' Configure interface - Auto DHCP Network Configuration of wlan0 UNSUCCESSFUL! If a DHCP sever is not availiable, you will have to do everything manually by setting a static IP, both this script will make it easy. Could you help or explain what I should do next? I 'm a newbie, thanks. |
