Language Pack for Brasilian Portuguese "langpack_pt_BR.pete" for Puppy

I'm looking for a package to convert my Puppy Linux to Brazilian Portuguese. Years ago I already tested Puppy and I converted it to Brazilian Portuguese using the langpack_pt_BR-20140425.pet package. I even saved this file and tried to use it on this current Puppy. But it didn't complete the installation when I double-clicked on the file. Looks like it's obsolete. Can you help me to find a similar package that makes my Puppy Linux to Brazilian Portuguese. Thanks in advance for any help.

Nobody is getting you going on this, so let me try. I get it that there's a difference between Brazilian Portuguese snd Portuguese Portuguese. Have you searched your distro for a glibc locales package?

The problem is that I am not finding a Portuguese language package either in Portugal Portuguese or Brazilian Portuguese. When I installed Linux Puppy in my Notebook I received a message telling me that I need to install a package to convert the language from English to Portuguese. But I am not finding such package. I hope now you can understand my doubt.

In your honour, I checked in /usr/lib64/locale, and found glibc had installed a pt_BR locale, which seems just what you're lookeng for. If your distro doesn't supply it, have that argument with them.

business_kid, forgive me for bothering you so much with my doubt but you were the only one who volunteered to help me so far. I have already posted this question on the "Puppy Linux Discussion Forum" and 64 users of this Forum saw my question but didn't give any answers. I figured there was a website from which I could download this package. The /usr/lib64/locale is installed but it seems that it doesn't have the locale "portuguese-pt_BR" or even the "portuguese-pt_PT". It also seems to me that this distribution doesn't have the command via console: "dpkg-reconfigure locales".
The problem is that this distribution is light enough to run on the Samsung N150 Plus netbook which is quite obsolete (32 bits still). I wanted to donate it to a cousin of mine who needs a computer. But with Windows or a more recent Linux it becomes a cart. Could you give me any more suggestions?

Please re-read post #4. The locale names are 2 letters for language; underscore; 2 names for country.

Set the pt_BR throughout your system and see what goes wrong.
