where, if at all, is the active online Literate Programming community
I'm already looking into the LP mailing list and the LP newsgroup, both of which may have run into technical or administrative problems.
Other mailing lists, forums, or chats? Cheers! |
Well, if one doesn't exist, I'd like to start one!

I have created Reddit/r/LitProg, after much research – including checking in with Dr Norman Ramsey, the author of Noweb and ex-moderator of the moderated discussion group comp.programming.literate and its linked mailing list LitProg. This is intended to be a revival of the existing discussion group. I would have preferred to revive the newsgroup and mailing list, but decided they are broken beyond repair. There is no telling whether there is currently enough interest to support them again again. So now we’ll find out.

The technical problem with the moderated newsgroup comp.programming.literate has been fixed. It is again possible for the moderation team to post submissions.

By the way: what's the best way, these days, to access "newsgroups?" Web-site or software? (I don't know if my ISP still supports a newsgroup server ...)
(Transfer to a brand-new thread if desired.) |
I personally use eternal-september.org.

I tried to find other servers in the injection-info of other's posts, but a lot of users appear to hide that information. Anyway. Many use payed services and swear that they do not need to compare to know that they are more reliable (for whichever reason). See https://search.mdosch.de/search?q=ne...gories=general |
There's also dotsrc.org (formerly sunsite for you old farts) and blueworldhosting.com.
