Display application on LCD
 

Hello everybody

I have got Freescale's i.MX21 Board and together with that i have got Sharp LCD LQ035Q7DB02

i have to Display my application ( or u can think of a simple string) on this LCD..

Can any one help me out with this..what things i have to consider to approach this problem

What LCD specifications are needed to Display Something on it..I mean any API's at user level available to Display a simple string on this LCD?

Smone told me about Framebuffer driver ( it drives LCD in Linux)..how to use this ..

What OS are you running?
Is it a standalone application?
Have you checked the manufacturer's website (if any) for drivers or application notes?
Does the LCD have a programmer's guide? user's guide?
Does the board have a programmer's guide? user's guide?

There are websites for embedded linux, that may have some forums that you can try as well.
