Gif files on facebook
 

Helloo everyone,

I recently installed Manjaro-Deepin on my laptop, so i am a newbie to arch.

After installing opera on manjaro, i am not able to play Gifs on Facebook and i am being told its not exactly gif on facebook and they are converted to .mp4 files. Those files (images or .mp4) play smoothly using chromium but not on opera. One of the users at opera forums suggested i install "chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra", but if this codec is not installed, how can i play the files on chromium.

Please suggest a solution. Thanks.

I use Herecura for installing Opera on Arch: http://repo.herecura.eu/

Then you can install opera-ffmpeg-codecs.
