Windows Media Player for Linux

Hi Everyone,

I have recently installed ManDrake 9.1. When I was running Windows, I frequently visited a site that provides streaming video only in the Windows Media format. Is there a clone player that I can download for linux that will allow me to play this type of streaming media?

Yes, you can use MPlayer.
You will find the RPMs for MPlayer on your Mandrake CDs.

Hello,

Mplayer is good, and so is xmms. Realplayer has a version for Mandrake Linux. You will find a link to the download page here.
