some questions about info on mandrake sites and forums
 

here are a couple of qoutes from sites from wich i downloaded mandrake and forums of people speeking bad versions and stuff, let me know if i did something wrong

Qoute from forum:

- download the three correct ISO-files (Mandrakelinux-10.0-Community-Download-CD*.i586.iso and not MandrakeLinux-10.0-rc1-CD*.i586.iso)

It appears to be the correct one but i still cant boot :S:S:S

what have you done so far with the downloaded iso's?

You've got to burn them to CDs as images. It won't do to simply burn the .iso files on CDs. If you pop in the CD and open it in a file browser and you see a single iso file, you did the wrong thing.
