Quick bootloader question

Well I accedently messed up my HD ovand I couldn't boot into windows.. so I installed Mandy to correct the problem. Now with the issue fixed I wanted to remove mandy from my PC so I booted into windows, started partition magic and deleted the mandrake partition (as well as all other linux partitions) which turned them into unallocated space so I then resized my primary HD back to it's orriginal size (using the unallocated space) and rebooted. Partiton magic did it's thing and my HD is back to normal with mandrake removed from my system (I think..)

Anyways, my question is why am I still getting the mandrake bootloader on startup asking me what OS to boot into, and how can I make it so my PC boots straight into windows on startup. I tried to change the boot.ini options on msconfig but it doesn't exactly let me. Any suggestions/ideas?

Thank you :)

Hello,
As far as I know, if you boot on first Mandriva installation CD and choose F1/rescue, there should be an option to re-install windows default bootloader.

put in your windows boot disk and type "fixmbr". This will restore the master boot record on your hard drive.

Just for fun : if you don't have a windows boot disk, which is not necessarily included in a new PC box, you may have to pay a licence; with mandriva you may always get such a disk for free.
