Missing Interrupt --- MDK 10
 
Tried Mandrake 10 on a Sony VAIO Laptop --- Install fails with message Missing Interrupt hdc (or hda -- can't remember -- but it's the hard disk)

Tried as some posters suggested : Linux nopaic nolapic when prompted at install --still no good.

Anybody got this distro working on a Sony VAIO laptop yet -- my model is the Sony PCG-GRT816S


I'm currently using SUSE 9.0 PRO with no probs on this laptop but wanted to try Mandrake.
