Mandriva Corp Server 3.0
I purchased 3.0 back in 2004 and have used the Apache Webserver since, really like it.
The question I have is related to hosting multiple websites on the same server. I read the manual, but it only describes very vaguely. Is there anyone out there with a step-by-step procedure for this? Thanks. Chris |
Please tell me you aren't using the Apache server version from 2004
I don't have instructions but did a quick google and came up with this: https://geekflare.com/multiple-domai...-apache-nginx/ Basically you are creating multiple virtual host entries, each pointed to a different domain/fqdn and thus a different IP. |
Many Thanks seven... Yes, still using Apache 2.8, works great, but Mandriva is out of business and Server 5.0 cam free with 5 user limit so never upgraded.
Do you know of a contemporary replacement, I liked the GUI/Webmin and 3.0 is so easy to configure? Chris |
I am confused: the latest Apache version is 2.4. Are you using a version that is 15 years old? If so, there are serious security implications to this. I would strongly suggest upgrading the web server to a current version.
