Mandrake is switching the eth1 and eth0 interfaces... how can I switch them back?
 

When I performed a clean install of Mdk 10.1, it somehow listed my ethernet port as eth1 and my wireless card as eth0. No other disto I've seen does this; every other distro tends to use eth0 for wired connections and eth1 for wireless connections. How can I switch them back in Mandrake? As a side note, I've performed installs of Mdk 10.1 before, (on this same machine... don't ask) and I've never seen it do this before.

My guess wouldbe to go into the Mandrake control Center --> network and modify the current network connections, or, make a new network connection yourself.

Already tried that. I can't get at the interface designations from Mdk Control Center. Deleting and adding connections doesn't change the eth1 and eth0 designations.

Alias the drivers to the cards in /etc/modprobe.conf and /etc/modules.conf
