Mandrake 9.1 laptop display prob.

I have installed Mandrake 9.1 on my laptop. I have a 15.2 inch screen and a Nvida Geforce 4 420 Go with 32 megs. I can't figure out how to get the desktop to fill the screen. Right now it fills the dead center and leaves about 3/4 inch on the sides and 1/2 inch on top black. I have tried different resolutions with no luck. Is there some place that I can tell Mandrake the size of my screen or do I need a different driver.

Windows XP Home\Mandrake 9.1
Using drive that came with Mandrake 9.1 for display
2.2 GHz
512 Ram
40 Gig HD

Thanks for any help

Besides the above problem the system works fine

Go download and install the NVIDIA drivers, then try setting your resolution

Get the NVIDIA drivers. After you install them, make sure you edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file (as root) Look for this:

Driver "nv"

And change it to this:

Driver "nvidia"

Then reboot. You resolution should look ok now.
