Anyone Tried Mandrake PPC?

Has anyone out there tried a recent version of Mandrake PPC (Mandrake for Apple processors)?
If anyone has, could you tell me a bit about performance, harware recognition, etc?
I was thinking about getting a Powerbook, but I don't want to if I can't run Linux on it well.

Thanks in advance.

So thats what the PPC iso's are for! What does it stand for, BTW?

Never tried it myself, but it should work just as well since Mac has a closer nature to linux (I think.)

PPC stands for PowerPC (the Apple processor).

Mandrake - not the best choice for PPC

Mandrake PPC version doesn't even install on my iBOOK, but YellowDog works without any problem. YellowDog is an excelent choice for PPC hardware.
