2006.3 updating problem

For the last couple of days whenever I try to update my 2006.3 install it keeps giving me an error message when trying to connect to one of the mirrors. After I messed with it for awhile I found out that for some reason the 2006 update directory has been removed from all the mirrors. Any ideas or did somthing change that I don't know about?

Well 2006 beta 3 is just that - a beta version. I assume if they've taken off the updates its in preparation for the release of the next beta or RC or the release of the Release Version. Either way you should only be running the beta if you intend on testing it and finding stuff that is broken, its not for normal use.

To get updates for any betas you need to setup the cooker repositories. The downside is that things can break when you update your system because the betas are meant for testing as mentioned above.
