Please do a search for this, as it has been covered in depth previously. We do not block tor. Individual tor exit nodes that are part of mass spam attacks may be blocked temporarily (or in very rare cases, permanently).

I just checked, Cloudflare does block Tor consistently with its javascript. So while LQ may not do so, Cloudflare sure does block it. That said, I can't see a use-case for accessing LQ over Tor, Cloudflare or not.

Cloudflare full stop does not universally block tor - in fact they have settings to specifically allow it and they also support Onion Routing.

Tor works fine here, but it does take a few seconds longer while cloudflare checks the connection.

From their support page: https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en...-Onion-Routing There used to be an issue with the captcha they used where it would keep asking the user to verify they were human but that was resolved. |

I have been able to use LQ through TOR. It's tricky though - Google (who provides the blocklists) and Cloudflare can be very picky about which IP (exit node) it sees.

Nowadays TBB ships with Noscript enabled, but allowing javascript by default. Any change to that makes you more recognizable, less anonymous. Note: there's a difference between safety and anonymity. |
