suggestions to help newbies?maybe =)

well i was just wondering if our community here can maybe post commands that newbies should know. also any other information that would be useful such as how to install hardware drivers and how to install software. feed back on this idea would be nice as well as any other ideas you may have. theres alot about linux i would like to know such as, how to use the terminal and what not.

First about commands learning by head is useless .
Try to understand what command does.
And about hardware and drivers what do you think about FAQ and HowTos
Learning it does not matter what it is about discovering , making mistakes and stand up again
As they Said " Every Victory brings a other."

There is one problem: people tend to forget information they don't need right now, and overloading brain with "potentially useful information you don't need right now" simply doesn't work (I tried that).
So to actually learn something, newbie should at least become interested in subject and ask a questions. Then, eventually, someone will point him article, etc. Once they are interested they will be quickly able to find answers without additional help.
