I keep getting logged out
I don't get it, I always have LQ open in a browser. It is one of the first things that gets opened when I boot my machine and I never close it. My current uptime is 10 days, 22 hours. I have been logged in without issue until today. For some reason today it seems like every I refresh the forums it says I am not logged in and viewing the forums as a guest and I must login. I have been refreshing once every hour or 2 throughout the day and this has been a constant issue.
Not sure if maintenance was done recently that may have caused this or not but thought I would mention it. |
Same here

FWIW, normally this is only an issue for me if I set the browser security up too tightly. However, when opening the LQ page just now, I was also logged out.

Due to a recent code upgrade you may need to manually delete all LQ-related cookies. If that doesn't work for anyone, please let me know. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Not all members should be impacted, but a good number will be. I've added a note to the top of the page for all members who are not logged in.

Thanks for the feedback. If any members notice an issue they think started recently and may be a result of the recent upgrade, please don't hesitate to start a new thread about it.

Same problem but re-login fixed it.

OK, what's the secret word? Exactly how do I hold the bones when I throw them? I've logged out and logged back in. I've rebooted. I think I've removed all LQ cookies manually. What am I missing?

I originally though it was just me having this problem! Anyway I have cleared the cookies and am still having the logout problem. I've just tried again - will let you know.
