A Embedded Linux Engineer is required by my client in Bristol, England. My client are a multinational organisation with a need to expand its Embedded Linux Presence. We are the exclusive recruitment agency for this position.

Kernel Hacking and Kernel Engineering
Device Driver Creation and Porting
Board Support Packaged and Bootloaders
Embedded Programming in C
RTOS / Real Time Operating Systems
Linux / Unix

Strong commercial and functional experience in Digital Video Broadcast and Set Top Box Integration;

Knowledge of;

Transport Streams
MPEG Codecs
Middle-ware Integration
DVB Architecture and STB Development

The successful candidate will be part of a rock solid Kernel Hacking team, working at a very low level in the SDLC. You will also work in other areas of the business and be involved in important decisions on a project level.
