Hello Rahul,

You seem to be from India but the position is based in The USA. If that is true, then you would like to mention what kind of applications you would like to receive. Would you be fine with the candidates from India or other parts of the world? Is it mandatory for candidate to have valid work permit for the USA or you would be happy to assist them? What is the kind of experience you are looking at and any certain skill sets with some expertise?

Chaitanya,
I would have liked to echo your questions, but I went to the website the domain is for (artechinfo.com), and it really looks dodgy. If this guy is actually recruiting, he may not be able to pay you properly, that's what my intuition tells me.
If that's not true, I'm sorry, and carry on everybody.....

Well, I am happily employed and am not looking for a job here. Just wanted OP to give more information so that he receives only applications he should. And thanks for taking concerns and visiting his website and checking it out. It may surely help others coming here looking for work. I think you need to pay to advertise your job here. If this guy is not genuine, why did he pay LQ in the first place?
Let people decide if they want to apply for this position.

Artech is a contractor for IBM, these positions in Dubuque, IA are jobs at IBM's Service Delivery Center. They have 1300 people at the center, when I was there they had about 150 full time dedicated unix systems administrators. The jobs here are positions that would have been outsourced to India if IBM could do that, however IBM's contracts with the customer stipulate that the work must be done in the USA. There are no other tech employers in Dubuque, IBM is able to set wages to whatever it wants. My pay was 60% below the national average. When I was there they also worked their service delivery employees to death, I was averaging 80 hours a week and doing around the clock on call and night work. Zero work/life balance. The City of Dubuque is also in bed with IBM, they look the other way with human rights violations. The contractors here have no rights. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
