Samba/LinNeighborhood success!
 

Well, it's a silly thing, but I've made a huge step towards dumping XP entirely (well, except for my racing sims...).

Fired up LinNeighborhood in Mandrake 9.2 tonight for the first time and had a connection to my wife's Windows computer after about 10 minutes of fiddling. Got the webpages I needed to upload for her and done. And now I'm listening to her MP3 collection as well.

I know it's such a little thing overall, but I'm just excited!!! :D

Now if I can just get my wife to convert eventually.... :p
