New and frustrated
 

Hello all....new Linux (Zenwalk 1.2) user from Waco, TX.

Not a comp science major by any means...therefore, some simple things that are no brainers on windows are fits for me on linux.

Zenwalk is pretty much everything I need out of the box (after fooling with Debian, Mepis, Ubuntu). However, if I can't get my Nokia 6230 with DKU-2 cable to work JUST FOR TRANSFERRING FILES, I'll have to got back to windows.

I don't mind working and learning, but I'm not going to be a developer...I just want to lessen my dependence on Microsoft and be able to transfer files to my MMC on the phone (no bluetooth, sync, etc.)
