Virtualization from a central server

I'm tired of fighting with the Virtualbox installation. What I want to do is install an XP Pro VM on my Debian Lenny server (which does not have a gui installed) and make the VM accessible to all the client machines on my home office network. Can anyone tell me what software I can use to accomplish this and point me towards a good tutorial with which to get it running?

One way to do this is with KVM and the built-in VNC option:

Tried that, turns out kvm won't work with my cpu. This server is not exactly a new machine.

Have you tried qemu with kqemu? It's not as fast as kvm but it's way better than just qemu alone.

I'll give it a shot and let you know.
