QEMU VMs and Client Suspend on Host Lid Close
 

I run QEMU VMs on my laptop for test/play. When I need to close the laptop lid, I shut down the VMs. Does QEMU know if the host enters suspend, and does it have a way to suspend the VM as well?

What have your searches suggested ?.

You can always insert scripts to do what you want at system interrupt points - depends what "system" you are using; systemd, OpenRC, rinit, whatever. Your call.
