Linux guest on Vmware is not communicating to other guest machines
 
Hi All,

Am newbie to linux! I have recently installed Linux guest on windows xP host and 2 windows server`s. I have used the networking as " Host only", ping is successful on both the windows servers. But Am not able to ping Linux server from the windows and vice versa.

Can someone help me to configure the linux guest to communicate with windows guest machines.

Linux version is: RedHat Enterprise Linux 5

Sarav,
Have you configured networking at all on the linux box ?

the command setup -> networking should help.

I have made the network adapter for linux as NAT and other windows machine as HOST only... now its working fine.
