I forgot enable "enable thin provisioning optimized storage for xendesktop"

Hello all.
When I installed Xenserver 6.2, I forgot to enable "enable thin provisioning optimized storage for xendesktop", How can I re-enable it for my SR?

Cheers.

And as you've been told before, many times, that is NOT a free product, and you need to be paying for support...since you are (right???), did you call them? And did you try to look this up on the Citrix support website?? The answer is there, in the documentation, if you tried to look it up.

You need to re-install it, and select the right option at build time. Call Citrix support, or look it up for yourself in the documentation if you need a further explanation.

Haha, Citrix Blocked my country and I can't post on it. I know it that the official forum is a best place and if you looking at Citrix Website you can understand it. Citrix Xenserver is Free :) and you don't need to pay money , It is not Vmware :)
Please looking at http://blog.citrix24.com/how-does-intellicache-work/ , You don't need to Reinstall it and it show me that you have not any knowledge about it. You just want to send bullshit comments and not know anything.Your guidance about my sound card was like it and you recommended to Remove Debian and Install it again. I guess you are on Windows and Not Gnu/Linux. It is Linux and everything is possible.

Wrong, it is NOT FREE. You get a free TRIAL, and if you use it past that date, you NEED TO PAY. And AGAIN, if you are using Citrix and you're not LEGALLY ENTITLED TO, then this is against LQ Rules to ask, period.

And you've shown that you apparently can't read or understand things. From that VERY PAGE you posted:

Because, as was said, you refuse to follow instructions or guidance, and since you want to be spoon-fed each and every command (just to ignore what's said), re-installing is the easiest option FOR YOU. People here don't have the time or inclination to keep telling you things over and over, just to have you repost the same quesitons, or ignore what you're told.

Then why do you need so much help?

Sorry, thats incorrect. I use XenServer and it is free (as in beer) and it is open source. There is no license necesarry to run it.

http://www.citrix.com/products/xenserver/overview.html

However, you CAN buy additional support for it (which automates patching, which is done by hand otherwise.) But it is free to use in perpetuity without paid support or paid license according to my XenCenter 'about' page, and the Citrix Xenserver license and EULA.

Huh...I must be thinking of another Citrix product, then. Good catch.

szboardstretcher 11-26-2014 10:59 AM

Probably XenApp or XenDesktop, those have lots of licensing tied to them.

Yes...but the OP said he IS using XenDesktop. And it's pointless anyway, since the OP isn't legally able to purchase/run that software in their country, by his own admission, so helping is against LQ Rules.

Hey, I'm sure you don't know anything about Citrix Xenserver and just want to post messages on topics to improve your post. :(. If you installed Xenserver you can see an option with the name "enable thin provisioning optimized storage for xendesktop" and it is not mean Citrix that you thinking. Please visit an oculist or just download Citrix Xenserver.I guess you thinking that I'm stupid but if you like I can challenge you about the Pentesting. Are you agree?

Hey, I'm not Racist or Political but I guess you are. I'm sorry for this but in the World "Persian" is the best stirps and we have a Civilization about 2578 years ago. I bet your country not discovered At that time. See "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persepolis". I have not any answer for you because of you are a Racist and don't know anything about Gnu/Linux and are a Windows user.

In your very first post, you asked how to enable it for Xendesktop, without reloading. You were told you can't..then, you posted a link to a site that says you CAN enable it, but ONLY IF YOU ERASE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE...which is the SAME THING AS RELOADING.

Don't need to..have used it (legally) for years and pay for what I use.

No idea what you're asking, and it doesn't matter. You repeatedly ignore what is said, won't answer questions (go look at your wget/spamming thread for a good example), and don't post details. Go look at your posting history, and see how often this has occurred.

And again, if Citrix is blocked in your country, then IT IS ILLEGAL for you to be using it.

No,My countryman and my country never said you "Racist" but I said you it because of the mean of Gnu/Linux. Linux is freedom and I guess the forum must not have any laws about it. Change your ideas about people and don't say them stupid or ....
