First, a comment. As you will have seen from the first entries in this forum, the format is:
Title: the name/location of your LUG
Text: briefly introduce the LUG.
Please follow this as it makes searching for the rest of us easier :)

Until this forum is populated by more groups, I thought this would be useful as an interim info solution:

It would be better if you would start a new thread about your group - it makes searching/viewing easier and means that you can add events by replying to your own posts.

A bit bummed, no LUG found in my immediate area. As a newbie is it worth the 60mile hike to meet other users? Nice bunch of people?

I have no idea. Why not start one in your area, that way, you and others wouldn't have to make the journey.
