HELP! Couldn't initialize SDL: No available video device
 
I tried to run ut2004demo but it gave me an error "Couldn't initialize SDL: No available video device"...
How can i fix this?

System:
Knoppix 3.3
nVIDIA GeForce 420mx
amd Athlon xp 2000+

Do you have your graphic card configured with acceleration? Do you have the NVidia driver from nvidia.com?

jeah i have the drivers installed but i gave me some error when i installed the drivers somethink about my kernel....

Please paste the errors yu got when installing the drivers. It seems the drivers were not installed.

Nope the drivers are installed becource i get the NVIDIA logo when im bootting and all the other games (quakeIII, tuxracer....) work fine...
