hdparm error -> could not allocate sharedmem buf: Function not implemented

Hi there!

Im trying to do some benchmarks on my laptop but i cant get hdparm to run properly.
I'm able to work with all the settings except from the -t switch wich measures the speed of the drive.
When i do:
#hdparm -t /dev/hda
/dev/hda:
could not allocate sharedmem buf: Function not implemented

Who can i solve that problem?

Using kernel 2.6.8.
These are the current setting of my hard drive
# hdparm /dev/hda

/dev/hda:
multcount = 16 (on)
IO_support = 0 (default 16-bit)
unmaskirq = 0 (off)
using_dma = 1 (on)
keepsettings = 0 (off)
readonly = 0 (off)
readahead = 256 (on)
geometry = 65535/16/63, sectors = 40007761920, start = 0

Thanks in advance!
