Changing default Mozilla location
I have installed Mozilla 1.7, but when I click on the Internet icon at the bottom, 1.4 launches. I can run it from the directory and create a shortcut, but I would like to redefine the default icon. How can I do this?

Delete (or rename) /usr/bin/mozilla and replace it with a symbolic link pointing at your new mozilla

Try clicking the icon with the right mouse button and selecting something like "Properties" from the menu that likely pops up. The common graphical desktop functionality on Linux is not very different from that on Windows.
