Streaming Audio Source
 

Hey,

I have a vserver with no sound device or GUI. I have a folder of mp3s and other content. I would like to stream the mp3s I tried using gnump3, but I don't think it is what I am looking for because it simply sends a playlist of mp3s on the server.

I was thinking of using icecast, but last time I tried it wanted a source and I had to setup one on my computer with a GUI.

Can anyone recommend a streaming audio source for icecast that can run on a vserver with a simple playlist?

Also I want this music to be streamed to my asterisk server as on hold music, so I need something that is compatible. I believe icecast would be.
