Setting Up A server: Easiest way to do it on Mageia 9 and AlmaLinux 9.3, using WordPress or an alternative app

Hi all, first time posting on the forums, excited to post!
What is the easiest way to set up a web server using mySQL and/or APACHE and/or WORDPRESS on Mageia 9 and AlmaLinux 9.3?
Either of these works fine for me; I appreciate the help, and any question answers are greatly appreciated!
This is for a project for college. I have these two distros installed on separate computers.
Thanks,
Andrew Van Ek

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.

There are many online guides to installing lamp on AlmaLinux and Mageia.

Most distributions have switched to mariadb versus MySQL. mariadb is basically a drop in replacement for MySQL.

You might want to take a look at XAMMP.

Note that XAMMP out of the box is not designed to be public-facing; it is not password-protected. If you are looking to have a public-facing server, you will need to take the appropriate precautions.
