LinuxQuestions.org - Server down after reboot

My server runs on CentOS Linux 7.3.1611 that I reboot after I notice a kernel update. For some time now 'shutdown -r now' activates a reboot but more than often the server does not come up. The DC control panel shows the server as down and I have to reboot from the panel to activate services again.

I have contacted the DC and they say that they had no problem rebooting the server from their end when they issued the 'shutdown -r now' command.

Recently there was a kernel update and the same thing happened, it didn't come up and I had to reboot from the DC control panel. Can't seem to notice anything in my logs but the logwatch report after I got the server back up showed: (if thats of any relevance)
