unable to boot into KDE GUI, plasmashell fails with result 'core-dump'

I've installed arch for the first time and set everything up manually, but when I got to installing the DE I chose plasma and on first run it was fine and loaded properly with the sddm menu showing and the actual desktop environment loading on login, but on reboot I would always get prompted with a black screen and able to move my mouse on tty2.

Using systemctl to restart sddm forces the same outcome, using plasmashell through ssh returns,
Code:

[yawnbo@yawnbo ~]$ plasmashell
Authorization required, but no authorization protocol specified

KCrash: Application 'plasmashell' crashing... crashRecursionCounter = 2
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Execute following commands:
Code:

$ ulimit -c unlimited
$ plasmashell
$ /usr/bin/ls -ltr core*

share the last modified core dump file to development team.
If development team unable to find the issue inform the development team to compile their application using
-g and removing -O3 option
