Suse 15.4 to 15.5 update problem.
Hi all,
I have tried updating my system from 15.4 to 15.5 but getting the "Installation has completed with error." Noting is updated and I am back with 15.4. Looks I am missing: File './x86_64/broadcom-wl-kmp-default-6.30.223.271_k5.14.21_150400.22-lp154.196.4.x86_64.rpm' not found on medium 'https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Sauerland/15.5/' File './x86_64/qarma-20220116.g6ee1a72-lp154.33.3.x86_64.rpm' not found on medium 'https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/ahjolinna/15.5/' Where can I find the above packages to complete the update? Thank you |
I assume that you actually mean openSUSE. You should start by sharing your current repo list
Code:
zypper lr -d https://download.opensuse.org/reposi...USE_Leap_15.5/ |

Try a Code:
zypper ref Code:
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Sauerland/15.5/ Code:
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/Sauerland:/hardware/openSUSE_Leap_15.5/ |

I am getting following errors when I run the above command: Code:

As posted, your repo list is largely unusable. The URLs are the most important parts of each. Many of yours are only partials. If you redirect output of zypper -r to a file, then the file will be complete, thus usable for pasting or attaching.
All those "home" repos need to be disabled to give the update program a chance to get the system from 15.4 to 15.5. Any with duplicate URLs need each dupe removed. After a competent upgrade has been completed you can determine whether you need to add any optionals back with the correct version 15.5. You can upgrade online once inapplicable repos are out of service, using sudo zypper clean && sudo zypper ref && sudo zypper dup --releasever=15.5. Each repo in the list is represented by a file in /etc/zypp/repos.d/. Each can be separately edited from 15.4 to 15.5 if you wish. If you do so with all, then --releasever=15.5 would be optional. Disabling can alternatively be accomplished by changing individual filenames to not end in .repo. YaST too can perform all required repo edits for you. |
