Setting Clock
 

Hello All,

I am running RedHat Fedora Core v1.0

As the clocks change to British Summer Time (BST) here in Blighty this weekend, my thoughts turned to the system clock...

When I first installed Fedora a couple of weeks ago I remember an option during the install procedure which asked if I wanted to allow the system clock to be regularly checked against an Internet time server. At the time I said no to this option because I knew that I would have a problem setting up my wireless connection and thought that it would only cause hassle.

I have now sorted out my Internet connection - see here for all the gory details - and I want now to be able to synchronise my clock in order to keep it accurate.

I can't however seem to find any option now within Fedora to allow me to activate this feature.

Has anyone any ideas how to do it?

Enable Network Time Prototcol

If you other-click (I use a lelty mouse, so always get this right click left click thing confused) your clock on the gui, you have an option of setting time and date. Click on it and select the "Enable Network Time Protocol."
