Is there a passware kit for linux

I am using kubuntu 12.04 and I was wondering if there is a free-ware version of passware kit basic.
Thank you

Looking at this page it seems that there be no version for Linux of passware kit basic, and no freeware version at all.

AFAIK if you want to use it on Linux all you could do is either running it in a virtual machine (for which you will need a windows OS anyway) or try to run it through Wine.

In any case you will have to buy a license of passware kit basic.

ophcrack

I do not undestand what is your question :)

But if you've lost one of your users ( not the superuser ) password you can login as root and change it.

Otherwise (superuser password lost) you can boot form your installation media accessing Rescue Mode, then you can change it.

I hope that helped.
