how to change the filesystem from read only to read write while logged via kali live persistance boot usb drive?
 
when i am trying to download something in kali linux usb persistence boot,it only saves in 2.0 GB hard drive created by it . i want to transfer data from my kali live to my other local hard disk and it is also nt making any new folder in other location local disk .. plzz help me guys

Hi and welcome to LQ.

I'll first note that Kali Linux is not typically a beginners Linux, and it also is not commonly a regular desktop distribution. It was created for the special case of penetration testing, therefore it is assuming a lot that you already know a lot of Linux fundamentals.

How have you mounted this other hard drive? Read-only? Do you know how to tell how it is mounted? Run just the mount command with no arguments and examine the output related to this other hard drive.
