After I install Redhat5.8,cannot boot?why??
only Grub>
when i type"boot"
Error desc:
Error 8: Kernel must be loaded before booting???
So i
grub> kernel /vmlinuz<TAB>
grub> grub> initrd /initrd<TAB>
grub> BOOT

but,nothing happen!~~~~

Two options. Both not pretty. How good are you with Linux? Why? Well, if you installed Red Hat, the error you have means you dont have a grub boot loader installed, at least not in the MBR. Secondly, is this a legit? Because the folks at Red Hat may well be able to help you, you should have a support plan...

If it does not HAVE to be Red Hat, try Fuduntu instead...it's a roller and Fedora based. Fedora, Red Hat, they're related ;)
