Free Satellite internet

There appears to be a lot of dubious information around about free satellite internet connections. Can anyone tell me if there are any genuine ways of gaining connections to the internet using satellite technology? By the way, I'm in the UK.

If you can get it regular satellite sucks. I managed to get in on Starlink and I am beyond pleased with it. It may not have the same latencies as fiber or cable but I'll take sub 50ms over anything standard satellite has to offer. We routinely have 4 tv streams going throughout the day + my wife works from home. i can game on it... it's a dream come true out here where there is literally no other option.

To get Elon Musk’s free internet, you must have a satellite dish and receiver of good quality, a router, and an internet cable. You can get free internet after getting this all at your home and office.

I can't say if your area of England is on their list but

They market as free but I read 75EU's a month after you sign up.
