Samba 3 and windows 2k3, anyone?
 

Greetings all! I am using samba 3, windbind and pam. Trying to get my users to login with linux box to a windows 2k3 domain. I am able to use this command, net ads join -S domain -U username, to join the domain but when they are prompted to login at boot, the user names are not populated. I have the how-to book (samba3) and googled the hell out of this to no avail. Can anyone help?

No one can help with this issue? Hard to believe with all this linux knowledge around here!

www.samba.org has a nice tutorial on this very subject.
It will help you to figure this out probably more easilly than anyone else

Not sure what tutorial you are looking at? Documentation, maybe? I've been all over www.samba.org found nothing but a "search" page. No one on this list has/had this problem before? come on people!
