I figured this out after I was installing ssh. My main computer is thunderbird, tekhut was an old install *on the same computer*, cel400 is my linux box. I have dchp enabled, but it seems the NIC gets a new MAC address after each reboot? what the heck? Any ideas? i am going to run out of ip's eventually ;). They are all behind a linksys router/firewall.
