DHCP server on two LAN cards
Hello my name is krishnakumar.I have a Query on RedHat linux 7.2.The query revolves around DHCP server on a machine with two Lan Cards. My machine has two lan cards having IP addresses 192.168.100.152 and 10.0.0.1.I have configured a DHCP server which will give IP addresses from both the subnets 192.168.100.0 and 10.0.0.0.This can be accomplished by changing the entries in the file /etc/rc.d/init.d/dhcpd.There are three client machines in my lab which are running wndows 98 operating system. In my dhcpd.conf file I have made changes in such a way that the dhcp server on 192.168.100.0 subnet will give two IP addresses 192.168.100.153 and 192.168.100.154.I want that when my two windows machines have taken the IP addresses 192.168.100.153 and 192.168.100.154 the third machine to be allocated an IP address from the 10.0.0.0 subnet.Basically I want DHCP server to run simultaneously on both Lan cards instead of one at a time. Please advice me on this if you can.
